    • Don't know what kinda stuff you play but this is a list of some decent bell related songs off the top of my head... Theirs loads of old doo wop songs that go on about bells but most are a bit boring.

Richard and the Young Lions - you can make it
Great bells at the begining of this...
      Echoes - Ding Dong
      Good Doo-wop
Carter Family - Evening Bells are Ringing
      Nice country song...
      Sonics - Village Idiot
Great funny as hell, lots of bell!
Jerry Mcain - Bell in my heart
(Excello Demos) Great song with Jerry ringing a cow bell all the
way thru it that they stole from a cow on the way to the studio!!!
Nicky and the Nobles - School Bells
Good Rythmn and blues with a kid singer
Four Blades - Church bells may ring
      More Doo wop
      Cadets - Ring Chimes
      More Doo wop with bongos
Del Vikings - Whispering Bells/I hear Bells
      More Doo wop
Terry Corin - My ding dong heart
      Good Girly band doo wop
      The Lurch - Lurch
Addams family spin off song... Its got a bell at the begining i beleive
Jon Spencer Blues Explosion - Bell Bottoms
      Would this be cheatin?
      John Garts - Sleigh Ride
Organ version that sorta sounds like the music from Dawn of the Dead
if its was set at christmas
The Tokens - Hear the Bells
Weird kinda "Lion sleeps tonite thing with a Country breakdown"
Bill Carlisle - Bell Clappin Mama
Great country/rockabilly with quite viscous undertones of violence!
Dave BArtholomew - My ding a ling
Original and best version of this song or you could go with Chuck berrys version.
Cellos - Rang Tang Ding Dong (I am the Japanese Sandman)
No bells but they do say Ding Dong... which is the noise a bell makes
      Ventures - Sleigh Ride

    • Do any of you podcasters use either of these sites to search for "podsafe" music? IODA Promonet Podsafe Music Network I just joined the IODA Promonet and am currently awaiting approval. It looks VERY similar to the Podsafe Music Network (and serves the same purpose), which I've used quite a bit in the past. Just curious.

It's a creature of journalist/rocker Mike Edison, (who earlier this year released a hilarious spoken-word album called I Have Fun Everywhere I Go (featuring blues/punk/techno backgrounds produced by one Jon Spencer) If you're on eMusic, they've got ERT's Yes!Yes!!Yes!!!, which might be what yer looking for.

    • remember when bands like the white stripes and henry and june weren't pretentious assholes. what happened to doin captain beefheart and son house songs? i've been on a kick lately digging through 45's and lurkin on myspace trying to find any bands who still have almost dead feeling. send me a link if you can help. the closest i've come is an obscure portland band who claims detroit as one of their influences. they're called SAMO and they do oneof the best covers of a son house track that i've maybe ever heard (almost as good as death letter). the rest of their songs are a little strange, but still good in their own way. myspace.com/samo333

"You have a washing machine in your BATHROOM?"

Yep, I have a very large bathroom...I can even roll down to the floor from my shower to my washing machine to the sounds of the Savage Kick !!! A cool experience, believe me...
Or even experiencing a Rock'n'roll Suicide standing on top of that groovy white washing machine, ready to jump...or travel all around my so so so large bathroom like I was a Vagabond Garage Rocker...

Well...I'd never thought I'd talk about my bathroom on the net someday...
