Roky Erickson , now "The Singing Grandfather".

Roky's Son , Jegar , and his fiancee , Kaylee , are now the proud parents of a baby boy. When I saw the couple , touring with Roky, recently , Kaylee said she was due late this month. They had already planned to name their child Julian. Jegar was clearly over the moon.

Jegar and Kaylee have , for some time , been founding members of Roky's fine present - day backing band , The Hounds of Baskerville , a pretty spiffy lil' Horror Rock BAND FROM TEXAS , themselves. IF AND WHEN THEY'LL BE ABLE TO RETURN TO THE FOLD IS UNCERTAIN. What IS certain is that two cooler people could'nt be asked to uphold the heritage of one of Rock's greatest songwriters and spokesmen.

Thanks for the  thanks , kopper , and anyone else... I'm going to try to call Dana , Roky's wife , in a little while , and ask how the baby is doing. I'm sure things are fine , but affirmationing never hurt a body , none. John.

You're welcome, Scurvy Bandana. I'm sure everyone's all right. I was't able to get in touch , but , that's understandable. I just know they were REALLY happy about it. Jegar and Kaylee are a great couple. They have so much to bring their child , besides a living legend for a Grandpa. I thik Roky's going to do just fine.
