Goed initiatief! De Stekkers houden zich aanbevolen om een keer als voorprogramma de tent te komen opwarmen!

    • Most of Sardinia bands are awesome, specially the Rippers and the ones with some ripper inside (Love Boat, Two Bit Dezperados).

From campania very good bands are the Funny Dunny, the Female Troubles and the Wild Week-end.

    • Yeah, I would have started off with Thee Vicars, if it wasn't for Chris's untimely passing...

The Mobbs http://garagepunk.ning.com/profile/TheMobbs from Northampton (middle of England) are a great live band. Very British, very retro, but wild & uptempo.

    • Thee vicars...
Otherwise dunno if they're still up and running but when we played in Scotland there were the brutes and the thanes (well les bof actually).
      Yeah England was shit.
Scotland was the dog's bullocks though.

    • I hear that a lot of bands avoid playing Britain, when on European tours.

I figured that it would be good if we had a list & brief description, of Quality gigging Brit garage bands, all in the same place (& maybe garage-friendly venues/clubs)

Then bands could easily hook-up with other similar bands to get gigs, & Hopefully, gigs would be well attended, by receptive crowds, more $£ lucrative, with more merch sold etc...

It would also help the British bands/scene...

(BUT, Everyone thinks that their own band is great, or their own business could do with some more money, so you'd have to nominate bands etc that you have NO DIRECT CONNECTION with... so no advertising!)

So does anyone know of any decent current British bands??
