Yes, I love it!  Particularly the earlier Francoise Hardy material, Chantal Goya (widely ridiculed for her career in children's television, but her 60s pop stuff is awesome), Anna Karina.

I, too, loved the Anti Nowhere League; one of my earliest gig memories was being saved by a mate from being crushed on the dancefloor of a tiny club in Norwich at at ANL gig in Norwich in 1983.  Ah, those were the days!  Who can argue with the sheer poetry of a song like "So What?"?  Genius.

    Hi Kopper,

Sorry for the slackness in keeping up-to-date since joining; it doesn't mean that I'm not interested (there's loads of things that I'm interested in that I find trouble getting the time to do)!

I'm loving the podcasts, currently, especially the Big Enchillada and Rev Norb's verbally diarrhoetic offerings.  He's great.  Many moons ago I used to read his nonsense in MRR, and he doesn't appear to have changed a jittery jot.

Anyhow, this was just a post to say "hi" and to say that I enjoy the Hideout, even if it's not obvious that I do!

    Cheers,

    Pete

Then, to help you find your way around and get started, I recommend taking a few minutes to read this introductory guide. It should do a good job in giving you a better idea of what all is available to you here. Hopefully you'll like what you find and keep coming back for more, because that's what it's all about. Cheers!  less
