    • Nashville Pussy. Their shows generally go off, and it is very much "in your face rock and roll".

    • rev definatly has a nice touch of sleeze. love them. i also like jackrabbit slim. he's got an album called 'sleezabilly rebel'
then there's a cute song by kiss called 'nothing to loose'. a nice little ditty about going the back door route. "she didn't want to, but she did anyway". i love that line. classic! kiss was definatly sleezy back in the 70's. what about the godfather of punk iggy??? raw power. awesome.

    • The sleaziest has to be Andre Williams, songs like Jailbait, Pussy Stank, Let Me Put It in, in fact the entire Silky album which has to be the sleaziest dirtiest piece of rock I own.
Some of the Reverend Horton Heats material has a very nice sleaze factor, have a quick listen to Wiggle Stick, Big Red Rocket of Love, and Love Whip and you'll get the idea.

    • i'm trying to find out some of your opinions of your top sleeze rock acts. it's doesn't have to be a paticular genre, just sex drugs and rock-n-roll rock!!
      me for starters, i like:
the dead boys (a band that gets over looked alot)
      the cramps (nuff said)
and l.a. guns (i know the get put into that "pop metal" genre but they are from that. straight foward in your face hard rock!)
i know it's all over the place, but i try not to stereo type music(except pop). if it's good, it's good. pop is generally not good.

    • It's at the drummer from the Teen Sensations' house. The lineup (we go on last):

2:00-2:40 the happy birthday death(members of the tunnels)
      3:10-3:50 first communion afterparty
      4:20-5:00 hopewell
      5:30-6:00 teen sensations
      6:30-7:10 mondo topless
Music between sets by DJ Scorpio, member of The Tunnels.

Don't know the address (yet), but I'm sure it'll be known soon enough.

We're really excited to be coming to Austin (our first time). Now, all we need to do is secure a clean floor to sleep on and we'll be all set...

    • Really love your stuff. I'll be sure to check you out. Any word on what house party you'll be playing Friday?

    • February 29, 2008 8:50 PM CST
    • Hey!

We (Mondo Topless) are playing SXSW for the first time. We're doing a Get Hip showcase on Saturday at Soho Lounge. It'll be with The Stems(!!!), The Cynics, The Ugly Beats, Paul Collins Beat, The Mullens and Breakup Society.

We're also doing a show Friday night at the Austin Beast House (above Emo's) and a house party earlier on Friday. We might also be doing Cheapo Discs on Sunday, but I'm not sure about that one.

      Sam :)

    • I am beyond shame...

    • Nah! Shame on you!

I got my iPod plugged into my noggin' every night as I lay in bed awaiting sleep. I have pretty bad tinnitus and have to have sound in my ears in order to drown out the ringing; it's quieter that way!

favorite (non-music) podcast: The History of Rome!!

    • Straight off the site, like a radio. I hardly use my ipod these days except in the car for long journeys

    • I like to keep a guitar every where. Or at least have one around when i watch t.v. or cook, or shit or, whatever. The more you fuck around the more likely you are to come up with new sounds.

    • do any of yu gals get groupies? i find them few and far between and wonder if guys are kinda scared of us.....i've heard men claim that if you stick a chick on a bike or a guitar in her hands her sex appeal shoots through the roof, but we seem to only get the odd Star Trekker interested in us. weird.....
