Bio The Static Minds are a four piece, high energy rock and roll band from Raleigh, North Carolina. The band features former members of the Dragstrip Syndicate and the Cherry Valence, in addition to current members of the T's and the Royal Nites. They are 100% committed to good times, loud rock, and slaying audiences. Musically, the 'Minds follow the same sonic trajectory as the MC5 and the Stooges, while leaving a little room for the sleazy side of Kiss and Exile-era 'Stones. Their live performances are an intense blast of sweat, volume, and freedom with lots of songs about high times, bad girls, and living it up no matter what life throws at you. In 2010 the band released their first single, "Rich Girl Blues," for Custom Made Music. Their full length debut, "Electricity," will be available July of 2010. The Static Minds rock like it's something they can't not do, and their fans are never left unsatisfied. They'll be tearing up a stage near you soon.
