That's awesome.  The lead singer, Paul, also runs Mammoth Cave http://mammothcaverecording.com/ . It's one of the best labels in Canada right now. Pretty much all the bands are worth checking out.

If you're looking for a great new Garage-Psych band you MUST check out the Ketamines. Definitely my favourite album of the year.

Bandcamp is hit and miss but the tags are usually helpful. If you like GSMD, you might also want to check out the Cosmic Dead (http://thecosmicdead.bandcamp.com/).

I've been surprised at how many good bands I've discovered on Bandcamp. If you haven't already, check out The Spyrals, Great Society Mind Destroyers, Magic Shoppe, and Radar Eyes.

I've recently heard  Catl - Soon This Will All Be Gone(2012). Amazing juke-joint blues from Toronto.

I have to say chime in with The Creeping Ivies, The Mobbs, and this summer's heavy rotation platter is Peter Molinari for that too hot a day, coffee in hand, Dylan feel.

If you want psych, Baby Woodrose put out a new album earlier this year on Bad Afro Records.

The new album from Thee Vicars is pretty solid.

The Dynamite Pussy Club is some good raucous stuff.

I just received an album in the mail from a band call The Treasure Fleet.  Not so much garage as it is 60s mod and psych.  It'd definitely say it's worth at least a listen.
