hey

I'm thinking of making a guitar from these guys my "nice guitar"

right now I play on an EPI which is fine but those look bad ass

I'd go for either a white phantom with a black pickguard or a triburst hollowbody with a mirror pickguard which do you guys prefer?

any one have any experience with these guitars?

ps. this is probably a long way off I'll do it maybe when i'm living stateside as part of my university course or I'll do it when I get a job (I know, I know not Rock n' roll)

I've got a white phantom with white pickguard from those guys and it's wicked. Definitely recommended.

should try and get an original just keep lurkin ebay for a cheep one i got mine for 1500 in sydney australia and it's a 63-64 model

Would that be a hollowbody teardrop?  At any rate I would go with the solid body ones.

I've played the Teardrop model and it was great BUT the neck is quite thin, a bit skinnier than a real 60's VOX. The plus is the playability is MUCH better, the originals felt like shit to me. The price is also a plus considering it's a Made in USA guitar. I say go for it!!!

I bought a white phantom black pickguard BASS half a year ago and its simply fucking AMAZING!
Best looking axe+the sound is great!
