      Recently I've gotten some good results.

       

      Schlitz 6 pack of tallboys for $3.69 (only 3.8 cents per ounce!)

       

      Pinkus Alt half liter - $1.75

       

      Affligem Dubbel Abbey Ale - $3.99 for a fifth

       

      Anyone else want to brag about a score?

      I like Porters in the Winter.  This one is on the smokey side to me but goes well with food especially pretzels, nuts, certain cheeses.  I bet its good with BBQ, too.  Good and a good deal.

      Old Milwaukee Light 12 pack = $4.97 + tax at Kroger.  Local laws didn't allow for booze sales in grocery stores (just liquor stores) until now.  Not keen on the "Light" but it's cheaper than any other beer in town including Milwaukee's Best, Keystone Light, and Natural Light.

      Dammit Dave! (No pun intended!) 3.69 for a 6pack of Schlitz tall boys is hard to beat! We can get a 6 pack of tall boys here but that is no frills beer and I means NO FRILLS! At any rate....cheers from The Professor! I'll be watchin' fo' bargains out there....
