      What's going on in Portland, OR  for surf, garage, & cars that's worthy of breaking out the leopard shirt & Fez?  Interested in shows, art or anything related.

      maybe try duff's garage, club 21, or the queen of hearts for car club culture.

      tons of garage punk bands and venues! Mean Jeans, Youthbitch, Suicide Notes, the cry!, The Lordy Lords, etc... not to mention the group whose single i just put out- The No Tomorrow Boys. check out PC-PDX.com.

      Surf is harder to come by. Guantanamo Baywatch is the hot band on the scene right now...Kinda look like hipster idiots, but the music is really good if you can get past that.

      A couple of our Hideout Comp Series bands, Youthbitch & the Fast Takers, are from Portland, too. As is Scott "Deluxe" Drake. Just sayin'.

      yes, me too!  there are some really great bands in Portland right now, and the NW, in general: Freedom Club, Therapists, Unnatural Helpers, and lots of good shows at The Know on NE Alberta.
