If you live in Columbia, SC the reason to see this Death Wish-like revenge action flick is all the familiar downtown locations. Some of this was filmed right down the street from my house. The local weekly ran a huge feature on it, all the critics slammed it, but it's sure to show up on pay-cable as an attention-grabbing taut fast-paced (and unusually downbeat) and somewhat better than average vigilante opus. We all laughed at the idea of a street gang in Columbia, SC that was all white skinheads with tattoos on their necks who had one token black guy in their gang cooking meth at the now defunct state mental hospital. With a bespectacled John Goodman as character that may remind you of Brick-top from Snatch.
