ORG Records and my attempt to have you check them out

  • Okay, I got that e-mail 'bout that whole advertisment abuse on the S.S.P here in da garage, so i'm gonna bypass it and go straight from here.   YA"LL need to check out a lil' label based out in sunny Southern California (land of high taxes, gas prices and hipster scum) called ORG Music.  They are great guys and so are there pressings.  High end audiophile quality here made by guys who've been working in the pressing industry(or what's left of it) for a long while now. .  Whether you deal with reissues or not, check these guys out,  here is just a sample of what they've got to offer

-Mike Watt: Hy-phenated Man (just got this record, the Watt-man has done it again with great jams and tongue in cheek style.)  140 gram colored vinyl with a download card to get a lossless digital version of the album.

-Helmet: Meantime (Paige Hamilton and Steve Albini....nuff said).  This album fuckin' rules....flat out...I dare anyone to challenge it's intensity.  140 gram black vinyl coming soon from these guys, take heed....your face will melt.

-Sonic Youth: Evol (The band's debut with the legendary SST records in L.A.):  Pressed on 180 gram from RTI in Burbank, contains the song that made Neil Young cream his long johns "Express To Yr Skull."

-Nirvana: Incesticide (Cobain's attempt to distract fans while organizing "In Utero......it worked.)  Pressed in Germany (so ya already know it's good) on 180G standard black or clear (semen stained) vinyl.

-Velvet Underground: Live 1969 Vol & 2 (Lou Reed and co.)  Contains various tracks recorded in Dallas and "Frisco (as Lee Ving would put it).  Out of press at moment but rape management about it and I'm sure they'll recognize and give the people what they want.

Coming Soon: 400 Blows (Sickness and Health):  These guys are gonna be the next Tool, you're not gonna know exactly how to classify them in a category......which is a good thing (it's just Rock and Roll!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

    Enjoy all!!!!!!!!!!!
