I think this was more in reference to people who have problems BUYING stuff on line, not bands who have trouble selling on line.  Not clueless. Just don't have a credit card or a bank card with enough funds on the account, not to mention fees a bank will hit you with for using the card.

I guess I am clueless.  I would have thought that a band would have a better chance at selling music at the show right after having played live.  If you don't have something to sell right then and there, the music purchase will get blown off and forgotten about unless you made a huge impression.  Though I prefer vinyl, CDs are a lot cheaper to make and easier to transport than records (2 big plusses for labels, bands, and buyers) so in my opinion, they still have a place.

It doesn't matter how much you like them or how handy you might think they are for bands who are clueless how to distribute their music via the Internet (*ahem*, Bandcamp?), but it has a LOT to do with the fact that CDs JUST AREN'T SELLING anymore. Period. And when stuff stops selling, it doesn't matter how fancy you think it is/was, it's gonna go the way of the dinosaur, or, in this case, the 8-track tape.

Yeah, we're going for a biker image although we're not into "real" biker culture. Our thing are the movies and soundtracks of the biker exploitation film genre, mainly during the years 1966-68, although everything we do are our own originals. We're currently working on two songs for a split 45 EP with Italian fuzz masters The Hangee V (due to be released early next year) that will come loaded with... yes, you guessed it - FUZZ!

Btw, I just picked up Devil's Angels which is now out on DVD for the first time. The movie soundtrack is totally packed with great Davie Allan stuff - just check out the first few minutes to get an idea of what I'm talking about:

That is SUCH a great film....We , in the states , had to rely on piss - poor , washed out LP or even SLP speed VHS tape copies , because the movie was in the Public Domain (Which I support , but , it also means you can get real crap , even if you did'nt pay very much for it...). It took forever to see a proper video release , and , only , recently , on DVD , here....

Any of you guys like the early 70's Hammer , Tigon and Amicus "Hip" Horror , and can envision it crossed with Badass British Bikers , the strangely - named "Psychomania" (It's about Bikers who learn how to come back from the dead , with unlimited supernatural powers , NOT A madhouse epic.) . Our own "Werewolves on Wheels" pales in comparison , but , it's good for a laugh.

Dec. 3 Jerry Lee Lewis and ? and The Mysterians are playing in Chicago. NOT on the same bill , of course. That would be too good to be true , and NOT a logistical nightmare....Jerry Lee's show is supposed to start at 6 :30. Hopefully , there won't be 3 or 4 opening acts. THEN , i'LL HAVE TO HOOF IT CLEAR ACROSS TOWN TO SEE Question mark (WHO , HOPEFULLY , WILL HAVE 3 or 4 opening acts.), THAT SHOW IS SUPPOSED TO START AT 8:00 or 8:30.

Otherwise , Rocket From The Tombs is also playing next month. Gotta look into that.

There was a Surf Zombies in Chicago , who played their last gigs less than 10 years ago , but , they were'nt Horror - themed , and did'nt own the name outright.
On an unrelated note , the Chicago Mystery Girls played out for almost 10 years. The name has been passed around for years , but it should been retired with them.....

He was . In fact , The Damned shared bills with Sutch , and , early on , carried his coffin on stage. If you've ever seen the "Blood on The Cats " , I think it is (W/ Meteors , Sting Rays , Milkshakes , Jazz Butcher , etc.) video , there's A little footage of Sensible and Sutch onstage , together.
