Greetin’s Cretins……
This Note is to inform all, with my deepest regrets to all who care, that my last “performance” on The WAYBACK MACHINE as co-host with my good friend Kopper will be on Sunday Sept. 2nd (Saturday night Sept. 1st) at 12:01am to 2:00am. This has been an incredibly hard decision to make… but due to classes for my electrical journeyman position it was capped off to happen (plus other obligations, too tired for family on sundays, too busy for family on Saturday setting the show up!!!). That and a lackluster disgust with the whole thing. Things that I may “imagine” such as the program commitee’s inability to move our show to a better time slot. We were hoping for a 10:00pm or ideally a 8:00pm during the the week (I actually was hoping they would stick behind their words of variety and realize that some people might actually want a fantastic rock show on during the day on saturday or sunday but those days still remain a monopoly). I Don’t mean to offend ANYONE… KDHX is a great station and I do harbor paranoia. :)
Anyhow Kopper was kind enough to welcome me aboard and it hurts me a lot to let it go with a fear of letting him down (you will always be my best friend). The show will go on as long as kopper holds true. He and this show have opened a lot of doors for some of KDHX’s great rock shows (you know who you are; do me a favor and just don’t forget it).
The night of the 18th/19th Kopper and I will be together and then on the weekend of the 25th/26th I will be flying solo and hope to bring you a best of all I have collected for the show… On our final show together we will bring the fantastic sounds of the band that has treated me the best and as far as I’m concerned (in a tie with Tomorrow’s Caveman) are THE BEST ROCK N ROLL BAND IN the St Louis area: THEE LORDLY SERPENTS (by the way in the dictionary a serpent is not only a snake but a wily, treacherous, or malicious person or an old wooden musical instrument).
I Am honored to have served, wish I could have helped more but gotta find some other fun now…….

PS- As for the fabulous publication of HEAD IN A MILK BOTTLE I would still like to be a small contributor possibly working my way to a large contributor. Please let me play still??? Especially since the Essential Shit column was (pompously enough) MY brainchild >:}
