Wayback Website!

July 28th, 1997 | Category: News

The Wayback Machine website is up and running!

After slaving over a hot computer monitor all weekend long (it was a good excuse to stay inside and avoid the 100+ degree temperatures OUTside), I am happy to report that our website for The Wayback Machine radio show is now LIVE!

You’ll no doubt notice that it’s not thee most interesting website around, and probably WON’T be voted to Mort’s Top 99% of the Web any time soon, but it’s a start. Yeah, pretty primitive… no fancy shmancy graphics or image files, but that’ll come later. In the meantime check it out and let me know what ya think. Also, if you’ve got your own page we’d appreciate it if you’d add a link to our site to try to generate some traffic. And if we somehow forgot to include a link to your site, by all means let us know. We’ll be adding many more very soon…

Enjoy!

New Time Slot: Saturday Nights!

July 01st, 1997 | Category: News

As of this coming weekend The Wayback Machine will be moving to its new permanent time slot at Midnight on Saturday nights (Sunday mornings). The show will be on until 3am, too, and that extra hour will enable us to play even more garage punk, surf and rockabilly.  This is a great thing for us as it’ll mean a helluva lot more listeners on a much more popular night, and also make it easier for people around the globe to tune us in over the ‘net.

Thanks to everyone who sent emailings of support a while back to KDHX. It was great to see such strong feedback and support for the show, even though it annoyed the hell out of the Program Director (hehehe).

Tune in, turn on, rock out.
