    • The theremin in use....

    • June 23, 2008 11:31 AM CDT
    • Hey MG:

They did the same thing in London, only the theremin (which btw sounded fucking killer!!), no keys and lotsa guitars! Great show! Would love to see them again sometime!

    • I saw 'em in Ottawa (w/ Four 'n' Giv'r) awhile back, and it was a great show. My only complaint (and it's a minor one) is that there was too much guitar (three guitarists!) and not enough electronics (just a theremin), but the rendition of "Mole Machine" alone was worth the price of admission!

    • Hiya, my new project needs a drummer!
We're playing all-new material that implements garage, punk and pop elements.
We already have vocals, two guitars and bass, so drums is the last piece of the puzzle!
Drummer with enthusiasm and big picture outlook on playing music is what we're looking for. For instance, drums may not happen to be your main instrument, but you "get" lots of different types of music, and can help write songs.
Look forward to hearing from ya's soon!

    • Frantic City hosts a night of mayhem... celebrating their 1 year Anniversary! DJs Tim Babel and Flipped Out Phil invited The Primordials to unleash a few of their numbers and help carry them into another year of their monthy at The Beaver. Frantic City is a celebration of the Rock'n'roll 45. That's right, all 45's all night long. A fun-filled rock 'n' roll attack. A sonic blitzkrieg made up of the sizzlin' sounds to be found on 7 inch singles: monophonic and occasionally moronic Sixties garage, psych, soul, surf, and bubblegum; rude, lewd Seventies punkitude; filthy Fifties rhythm 'n' booze and hillbilly moonshine bop! They show a groovy gassy grab-bag of vintage videos of B-movie trailers and garage bands and their fans in action, amongst other wild things!
