Hey, Mal! Excellent show – I am digging the tunes and the commentary…
I wanted to say, that Wimple Winch song is a fucking gem! I discovered it from the Nuggets II box set, and I thought my mp3 library has mistagged it as a 60s song… that slingy riff sounds like a time warp!! it’s nuts, good to hear someone else playing it
keep it up

Very cool. I am going to listen to much more when I get a chance. I do not listen to modern radio at all because it sucks so it is good to find music that I can rock out with my cock out to! Peace-Joe

Thanks, people.
I got that Embrooks song title wrong, it’s “No Matter What You Say.” “No Matter What You Do” was Badfinger.
I’m a big fan of the Embrooks. Their first two discs can be had cheap (OUR NEW DAY is available used for $1.98 on Amazon at the moment), and all of their stuff is worth checking out. The two-disc 45s AND HIGH TIMES collection has a ton of great stuff, including a couple of great radio sessions that harken back to all those great BBC sessions of the Who, Kinks, Small Faces, Pretty Things, et al.
