I actually enjoy being asked. I get a good amount of non-English speaking folk who message me on myspace. Plus, it’s no fun if you can just read a playlist. You’ve got to make the person try a little. It’s like the difference between CDs and tapes.
Did that make sense? I think it may have.

Acutally, it is fun to read the playlists. It makes me revisit old shows – sometimes episodes 2 or 3 of a podcast show.

Charles, you seem to be forgetting that playlists are also indexed on the Web. Indexed and *searchable*. Posting your playlist not only helps current listeners identify the music you play, but it also can attract NEW listeners to your podcast (those that may find us by googling a band/song name). But that won’t happen if you don’t post the list. Just sayin’.

HAHA OK, OK. You’ve twisted my arm. I’ll try to start writing playlists. BUT I AIN’T MAKIN’ NO PROMISES!
Most of my shows have play lists. I think it’s just the last 4 or 6 that don’t have them. From now on I’ll try to type them out. I’m just used to listening to shows on here and WFMU and writing down the names after they say them, but I guess I’m the weirdo in this case. I never read the other shows playlists so I just figured no one else did. Now I know better.
Gringo, glad you like the show! Sonic The Hedgehog Nightmares is my #1 favorite on here! Sorry other dudes… I like your shows too but I always make a point to listen to that one and Dave The Spazz on WFMU when I’m at work.
