…I’m 54 years old this past January 3rd…it seems there soon won’t be any of my rock’n'roll/psych heroes left…I got to see The Cramps at the Glasgow Barrowlands sometime in the ’80′s…I remember buying 2 t-shirts-the ‘A Date With Elvis’ one and the ‘stick ‘em up baby…’ bondage one.The next day me and my mates flew out to Portugal for a week in the sun.We spent every day on the beach…I seem to remember a Green on Red bootleg continuously playing on the boom-box…but every night I endured the heat in my Cramps t-shirts,black leather pants, black suede winklepickers and my dad’s olive green original 1950′s overcoat.R.I.P.ya rockin’ motherfucker and thanks to all you guys on Garagepunk for the shows…

Thanks guys, I couldn’t believe it when I first heard it. I thought it was some internet rumor. I was nearly done with this show so I had to go back in and include something at least hastily but something as a tribute. I was thinking about doing a show with some cramps live stuff I have and if nobody else does it I’m tempted to post it up later this month possibly if I can on here.

Uh, have you guys tried listening to any of our other shows over the past week? Savage Kick? RadiOblivion? South Bay P.O.R.K.? etc. Just curious.
2009-02-16 at 22:03
I’ve been doing one a day, yours Friday, Radioblivion and P.O.R.K. following. Duke’s tomorrow. I am just saying there could be 60 of ‘em on here and I wouldn’t get sick of it. I’d love a HAUNTED SHACK special CRAMPS edition.

I finally found it. The circle is complete. I have the FredCast Podcast for bicycling, DirtBag Diaries Podcast for just hangin, Endless Boundries Podcast for jam music, Inbetween Swims podcast for kayaking, and a few other. But finally I found a rock’n’roll/psych podcast.
Great work
You asked for request–anything by Orange Bicycle.
Once again–thanks for the great podcast.
2009-03-13 at 01:24
Hey, thanks for requesting songs and your kind words, looks like I have a full lot to play. I had plans to do a show in between this request one first but things kind of went up in the air and I guess it will come after this episode. I know its been over a month now since the last one and I want to play these requests first. Cool to hear that the podcast is being discovered by new people. Thanks guys
Nick

hey, dude – excellent tracks, love the show!
can you play anything by Father Yod/Ya Ho Wha 13? or Sky Saxon? or cool/weird/hard-to-find tracks by The Seeds?
it’s hard coming by that stuff, and I’d love to hear it…
keep up the good work!
2009-03-18 at 19:53
Hey David, I will have to play them next show. I have all the tracks already arranged and completed. I’ll definitely include something in the next show. I couldn’t fit all the requests I got as is, way more suggestions than I expected to get. I think you might be dissapointed with yahowha, it’s really just erratic hippie commune sounding music. I’m not a fan of it so much.
