The Desperate Hour #23

2008-10-23

The Halloweeny Spooktacular-ish Thingy… Kinda

Host: Alex Piandes

The 23rd episode of The Desperate Hour packs and hour and eight minutes’ worth of tunes into 68 minutes (Huh?) Featuring ghoulish tunes by such horrifying acts as The Misfits, Screaming Lord Sutch, The Downliners Sect, Thee Michelle Gun Elephant and what is quite possibly thee creepiest and most appalling tune ever recorded… but you’ll have to listen to the show to find out what that tune would be, kids.

Bloodrock! That song was popular the year I graduated from high school (1971)

What a lovely way of saying how much you love me!

Well I listened but I didn’t hear Eddie Noack’s “Psycho”, surely the most chilling song ever recorded. There’s always next Halloween, and hell, there was so much great music for me to groove to! I heard some old favorites and was introduced to some new ones. Another of the most consistently excellent podcasts on the network!

Casey – I played that one on the last episode of Savage Kick.

Thanx for the props! I had forgotten completely about Psycho. We had the record at my old station WMFO back in the day but I don’t have it in my collection. Somebody want to flip me an Mp3 hint hint?
