Episode 46 features a tribute to The Ventures on the occasion of being the latest inductees to the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame (TM) as well as a bunch of other bands that are proud members of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Shame. Dig the sounds of Wau Y Los Arrghs, Modern Primitives, Mighty Go-Go Players, some new Dirtbombs and a double shot of the Sonic Chicken 4.
Damn you, Electreaux… I was gonna use the Plan 9 intro one day.
I was gonna replace “future” with “GaragePunk” because that dude says “future” far too many times to be effective. It’s great.
My Friends, we are all interested in the future for future events such as future us future future future.
The redundancy is one of the best things about that intro! Criswell rules, by the way. There’s an entire page of his sound bites from movies. Do a google search.
Oh, and I used to use that very same into for The Wayback Machine, so I wouldn’t worry about using it yourself… in the future, because future events such as these will effect you… in the future.
