What is the name of that first track? Couldn’t make it out and I gotta get ahold of that album.

    Great show

The Album is called LEAVE YOUR MIND AT HOME (1984) MIDNIGHT 12″EP (MIRLP 105) — of course by the Fuzztones. It was there first major release after the ‘BAD NEWS TRAVELS FAST single also on Midnight. Thanks for the comments and keep listening to SN! Part two of the garage show will be posted on the first of February.

Great podcast - the high energy levels ensured I was wide awake for work yesterday morning (for once)! Can’t wait for the next one. Also, any possibility of a posting a tracklist for the show (and future ones)? I can’t seem to find it anywhere if it’s already somewhere on the site. I’d like to track some of these great tunes down and add them to my collection.

Hey Groove… the playlist for this podcast was posted to the same place where all (well, MOST) of our show playlists are posted, to the GaragePunk Podcast Playlists google group. There’s instructions on how to join it on the “About the Podcast” page here. Please read that. Thanks.

If you guys like this stuff, you should check out a band called “howlies”. They are an AMAZING Atlanta band, and they will probably blow you away:

Thanks my view of the 80’s has changed slightly, although I still think the 80’s sucked ass but I think most decades suck when your talking about most mainstream music, especially nowadays. Myself and a friend are starting parties in Amsterdam with bands and Dj’s, it’s fucking hard to find good garage records at the right price, so could you tell me good labels to look out for, apart from Voodoo Rhythms, we know anything from them kick ass. Feel free to send us some promo’s we’ll happily play them till they’re worn out…….
Beatman, you gotta let us know when you can come over to play Paradiso. I know it did’nt work out for the Jonny Winters gig, but we got King Automatic, Dead Elvis and Sheriff Perkins so we’re covered.. Gringo you gotta play a set too, maybe we can do a sonic nightmare evening if it’s possible, with a live Beatman set.
Thanks guys see ya’ll soon, Eddie
