Host: Alex Piandes
Alex kicks off the 11th episode of The Desperate Hour with something actually recorded and released in the current century, then serves up a helping of more recent stuff from the ’90s and then washes it all down with the same old shit from 40 years ago. Featuring new stuff from the Cynics, recent stuff from The Royal Pendletons, Holly Golightly and The Hate Bombs, and for the oldsters, The Modern Lovers and Blues Magoos.

Just thanks for your podcast and for your radio show. You play MY kinda music and , having been banished to the South, it’s great to hear someone with a Boston accent.
Your comments about stuff are great, too. One of the top outstanding podcasts on garagepunk.com.
Do you know anything about a now-deceased bluesman from Halifax Nova Scotia named Rick Jeffries. His claim to fame was that they used his music in the first season of _Trailer Park Boys_?
