Mystery Action

Host: Charles Gaskins

You guys like crackling records and low-quality sound, right?

Charles has been dusting off a bunch of 45s that he forgot all about. Why did he forget about them? Fucked if I know because they’re AMAZING!

Soul stompers, organ-driven instromentals, and other varied styles of music from the street to make you move your feet!

holy crap. great set. I just moved to Brooklyn and accidentally stumbled into The Thing last week trying to wast time. Didn’t think it was “all that” but then I stumbled into the back room and then the basement… holy cow! It blew my mind! I didn’t even bother with the Lp’s just went straight for the hole in the wall filled with 45′s. Now I’ve been spending the last few days trying to scrub the mother fuckers clean.

anyways, I for one will be there at CaveStomp. Hope ever one else goes too.
