Host: Brad X
Here’s the latest installment of Get Drunk & Play Records for GaragePunk.com. Brad says he just barely got this one together because the last one he tried was way too fucked up and stupid, unless you’d like hearing him sing along like a drunk idiot with every song and make a complete fool of himself (thanks for sparing us of that, Brad!). So, feeling a bit humbled, this episode is about the music, and to keep it “fresh” it’s all from MP3s and not records. Back to vinyl next time, folks, until then enjoy this drunken virtual mixtape. He lists the songs and artists at the end.

We really had a big laugh here: it started out very nice with the zeros (mexican ramones) but then there was an awfull, sick, nazi-band called skrewdriver…
Logic or stupid/sick?

totally solid show brad and another reason for me to totally avoid listening to radio and stick to garagepunk.com !!!
would love to hear the fucked up show you said you did before – i totally dig get drunk and play records for the simple reason that it is either totally awwwwwwesome (like this one) or totally fucked up (PBR, anyone ?) – but always interesting nonetheless
where did you get the live sonics cut from ?
another punkrocker from belgium…
2007-05-01 at 19:22
sonics live cut is from busy body on norton.
i played the skrewdriver song because i like it. i dont care about their politics, i choose what i listen to or dont based on whether or not i like the way it sounds. also, that song doesnt talk about nazis i dont think. why should i care about british nationalism in the 80s? i just play kick ass punk rock and garage music.
