Florida artists like Wayne Cochran, Noble “Thin Man” Watts, and the Corornados rock alongside out-of-state greats like Bing Crosby, the Butthole Surfers, and the Beach Bums, who open the show with this episode’s theme song. Good god, what a great podcast! All those surprising tunes from the denizens of F-L-A and the Butthole Surfers and Root Boy besides. Yeah!

Great to see this show back again. I like the Iron Butterfly commercial and was surprised that the riff in the opening of every show is a Burtthole Surfers song. I think that is a first for a Garagepunk podcast.

“Elvis didn’t like Tampa” – Brilliant! .. and “Going back to Miami” was a huge part of growing up there.
Got a kick out of the “Moonshiner’s Woman” promo, AND the Iron Butterfly flogging “Ban” deodorant.. BUT Bob Seeger “Florida Time” and the Bing Crosby “Apalachicola” seemed a tiny bit out of place for the rest of the great music in this show. I’m going thru all your shows and love em all.. pls keep em coming.
