Host: MalThursday
The latest installment of Florida Rocks Again! is the purest expression of the show’s garage underbelly, with many great cuts from 1965 to 1968, but most from 1966. Together with “Sunshine State Garage Revisited” (FRA! #5 & 7) this episode makes the case for Florida’s garage greatness. Featuring We The People, the Allman Joys, Beaver Patrol, and many, many more. Produced by MalThursday and JeffMiami in living mono.

All the bleeps in the last set are a tribute to the genius of the Montells and the late Morton “Doc” Downey. Hope y’all don’t mind ‘em too much. An earlier version of this episode was part of the original 2004-2005 broadcast run on Oldies WSOS here in NE Fla. — I had to bleep “shit,” “piss,” and even “ass,” but was allowed to air the words “poontang” and “beaver” from the Vandals’ “I Saw Her in a Mustang.”
I also wanted to say that using the word “homies” twice in one break was meant to be ironic. I didn’t really sell that with my delivery…

Oh hell yes, this is THE ONE. Thanks so much!!! No such thing as a time machine, but you come close.
First time in 41 years I’m hearing the Birdwatcher’s “I’m going to do it to you”…. should have been on one of those Rhino nuggets sets. Is there a Birdwatchers CD out there somewhere?
KEEP UP the good work!!!
